MEET THE CREW
Kelly is a community builder creating outlets for connection whenever she can. Her favorite activities include, but are not limited to, making the best sandwich wraps ever (shout out to her deli days working at UMass), playing Super Smash Bros (Nintendo 64 – of course), and hanging out with her family. You can find Kelly
at Workbar Union and she always welcomes visitors!
Courtney is a designer, thinker, and collaborator, currently working at a healthcare tech startup and trying change the world. She fell into digital design at the age of 13, when she taught herself how to design and code her first website to host her (angsty) Harry Potter fanfiction. When she's not reminiscing about that great pinnacle of her youth, she's most likely playing ultimate frisbee, traveling to parts unknown, or cooking an inordinately large meal for herself.
Shoshana is an art historian and an assistant curator at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA. When she's not thinking about 20th century American painting and contemporary craft, she enjoys baking, trivia, and hockey.
Cat is a designer and outreach coordinator for Creative Somerville Series. Her passions lie at the intersection of human interaction and design. She is energized by urban environments and has an appreciation for all things architecture. When not working on a new project, you can find her traveling the world or photoshopping her friends’ faces onto Annie Leibovitz photos.
Gene Buonaccorsi takes care of all things photo and video for Creative Somerville. He loves the ingenuity and authenticity of the CSS speakers, and enjoys helping the community grow through his work. In his free time he welcomes distractions and fears monotony. You can probably find him reading a book, going outside, or going outside to read a book.
Lindsay Pike is fascinated by those who are pushing boundaries and find themselves where art, science, and technology meet. By day she works as an Admissions Counselor for Bard College. Outside of work, she continues to help push boundaries surrounding what "art" is and was, to see
what it can be.
Mia Scharphie, founder of Creative Agency, is a designer, do-er and big-picture thinker. She helps mission-driven, community-oriented people and organizations realize their goals beyond their expectations (and sometimes their wildest dreams). She is known for empowering people and organizations to achive the future they envision for themselves.
